Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking an Intermediate Automation / DevSecOps Engineer to automate provisioning, hardening, deployment, and sustainment of Department of the Air Force applications hosted in AWS GovCloud IL4–IL6. You will work with senior cloud engineers to build IaC and DevSecOps pipelines, enforce Zero Trust controls, and maintain system documentation.

The role emphasizes STIG automation, SCAP checks, container deployments, and ongoing compliance with DoD security

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance is required for access to government data.
Hands-on experience with GovCloud and DoD security controls.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling.
Experience applying DISA STIGs to Windows and Linux.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) to provision AWS GovCloud resources.
Build and improve CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines with security gates.
Automate STIG hardening for Windows and Linux environments.
Run SCC scans, remediate findings, and maintain IL4/IL5/IL6 compliance.
Configure least-privilege IAM, security groups, and network controls.
Deploy containerized apps and support Kubernetes workloads.
Automate patching, drift detection, and health checks.
Implement encryption standards (FIPS 140-2) for data at rest/in transit.
Monitor resources, logs, and pipelines, and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain documentation and support monthly cloud status reporting.
