Job summary

The Crowd, a New York design studio, is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer to join its growing team. You will develop architectural and interiors packages from design development through construction, advancing your responsibility and project exposure.

The role requires 4–8 years of professional experience in architecture or interior architecture and a strong command of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of professional experience within architecture or interior architecture.
• Experience on high-end residential, hospitality, restaurant or other design-led projects.
• Strong technical and documentation skills, with knowledge of construction and detailing.
• Proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Confident in working with consultants and project teams and taking on greater responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural and interiors packages from design development through construction.
• Produce detailed drawing sets, specifications and technical information to support project delivery.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal project teams throughout design and construction.
• Review submittals, shop drawings and project documentation, and help resolve design and technical issues.
• Support material, finish and product research while maintaining design quality and consistency.
