Blackbird Architects seeks a full-time talented, Architect / Designer to join our diverse team in our collaborative studio.

Job Requirements:

• 3-8 years experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Commitment to design excellence
• Ability to collaborate in teams on large projects and/or lead documentation of smaller projects
• Significant experience and demonstrated ability in detailing and construction documents
• Experience in leading consultant coordination
• Organizational and project management skills; ability to transition between different projects at multiple scales, ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in a variety of projects and with all phases of design and construction
• Strong design and graphic skills
• Proficiency with 2D drafting software. Working knowledge of VectorWorks a plus
• Proficiency with 3D modeling software. Working knowledge of SketchUp a plus
• Adobe software and other presentation software skills a plus
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience in sustainable design
• Professional work ethic essential
