A prominent architectural firm in Washington D.C. seeks an experienced Interiors - Project Architect responsible for ensuring design intent into detailed documentation and overseeing the design process from conceptual phase to construction. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in architecture, a current Registered Architect license, and significant experience in workplace interiors. Compensation is competitive, with an annual salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong rendering skills using either hand or computer sketching.
• Experience with project size over 30,000 SF preferred.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design intent is incorporated into detailed documentation.
• Monitor design process from conceptual phase through construction.
• Supervise preparation of technical drawings by less senior staff.

Skills

Creative talent in conceptual design and rendering skills

Knowledge of design trends and construction methodology

Proficiency in Deltek Vision

Knowledge of building regulations and safety codes

Ability to communicate effectively

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture

10 plus years of Interiors Workplace Experience

Registered Architect with current license
