Job summary

Kenworth Truck Company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in interior vehicle design. You will contribute to product development from concept to production, using Creo Parametric to craft interior assemblies and surfaces, and collaborating across engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, ergonomic cabins.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in 3D modeling, DFSS techniques, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent engineering degree required with EI/T certification a bonus.
• 1–3+ years of design experience in product development or similar fields.
• Proficient in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Creo Parametric to create complex assemblies and drawings that meet goals.
• Collaborate with industrial design to finalize interior surfaces and parts.
• Develop rapid prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Apply DFSS and engineering tools to validate designs (QFD, FMEA, DVP&R, GD&T).
• Track schedules and budgets across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with PACCAR Technical Center and external partners.
