Here is what you will be doing :

• Inspect, repair, and refinish interior trim including dashboards, consoles, door panels, seats, and headliners on both customer vehicles and pre-owned inventory.
• Remove and reinstall interior components as needed to access damaged areas.
• Perform cosmetic interior repairs to uphold Cavender's quality and resale standards.
• Assist with vehicle reconditioning for trade-ins and off-lease vehicles.
• Maintain high-quality standards that align with the Cavender Auto Family's customer-first approach.
• Properly document all repairs using dealership systems.
• Collaborate with service advisors, reconditioning teams, and other technicians for seamless workflow.
• Bonus : Conduct chip repairs, crack sealing, or full replacement of windshields and other auto glass components if qualified.

Here is what you will need :

• High School Diploma / GED is required
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
• 1-3+ years of experience in automotive interior trim repair or upholstery.
• Skilled with materials such as vinyl, leather, plastic, and fabric.
• Detail-driven with a strong sense of craftsmanship.
• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks in a fast-paced dealership setting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Preferred : Experience or certification in automotive glass repair / replacement.
• Preferred : Background in dealership or automotive reconditioning environments.
• Preferred : Familiarity with OEM repair standards and tools.
• Preferred : ASE, I-CAR, or manufacturer-specific certifications a plus.
• Preferred : Experience with dealership systems like CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds is helpful.
