Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Services
Come join the Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Services team and help ensure best in class service to our customers. In this position, you’ll be an integral part of the Aircraft Services team, installing interior kits on aircraft according to technical data and customer specifications.

What you’ll be doing as an Interior Installer

  1. Perform light custom fabrication of aircraft interiors for multiple commercial aircraft models.
  2. Fit and install interior plastic, carpet, and upholstery.
  3. Perform sheet metal work as required, mix compounds, and read and interpret drawings and installation instructions.
  4. Generate Fabrication followers as required.
  5. Work effectively with your team.
  6. Document all work performed.
  7. Demonstrate safe work practices and PPE use.

Skills You Bring To this Role

  1. Ability to perform tasks with little to no rework.
  2. Ability to demonstrate safe and compliant work habits at all times, to include use of Personal Protective Equipment.

What you need to be successful

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience with interior removal, modification, and installation or equivalent is required.

Previous experience in the following areas is strongly preferred:

  1. Experience working auto, boat, furniture, or aviation upholstery (aviation preferred).
  2. Experience working with industrial sewing machines (long Arm, walking foot, air and manual controlled).
  3. Experience with sewing heavy fabrics and leather.
  4. Experience with pattern making and sewing.
  5. Experience in covering complex rigid panels with fabrics and leather (using adhesives).

Physical requirements

  1. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  2. Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
  3. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
  4. Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
  5. Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
  7. Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
