Job summary

Cityscapes provides superior design, installation and maintenance of interior and exterior plantscapes for corporate settings. The team travels between Waltham, Burlington, and Canton, MA to care for biophilic designs and ensure plants stay vibrant.

We value collaboration, integrity, passion and pride, and require a candidate who can lift 20 lbs repeatedly, walk 3–5 miles daily, climb ladders, and manage multiple sites with strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Comfortable climbing ladders and lifting 10–20 lb watering gear.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to travel between sites in MA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and aesthetics of biophilic interior plants in corporate spaces.
• Water plants and manage sub-irrigation units appropriately.
• Keep plants free of dust and remove discolored leaves.
• Prune and fertilize as needed, especially in summer.
• Address pests with regular treatments as required.
• Ensure work areas are clean and orderly after visits.
• Maintain tools and replenish supplies; report damages.
• Coordinate with clients and supervisor on plant care.
• Document site changes and new account contact details.

Location: Current opening traveling between Waltham, MA - Burlington, MA., Canton, MA.

The right candidate

• Is a team player and has a passion and interest in growing and maintaining interior plants in a wide variety of environments and conditions.
• Is able to lift 20lbs repeatedly throughout the day, walk between 3-5 miles per day with a backpack full of tools & supplies
• Is comfortable climbing ladders/working off-ground while lifting a 10-20lbs watering bucket.
• Pays close attention to detail; highly detail-oriented
• Has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, independent working environment.
• Has a reliable mode of transportation

Job Duties

• Maintains overall health and aesthetics of biophilic designs in interior corporate settings in order to.
• Waters all plants and sub-irrigation units appropriately for each plant
• Ensures that all plants are clean and free of dust
• Removes discolored leaves; pruning
• Work to eradicate any pest infestations through regular topical and systemic means
• Remove all trash and debris from planters
• Fertilize plants as needed, but particularly during summer months
• Ensure customer space is clean and orderly throughout visit (no water spills or debris left behind)
• Maintains clean and effective tools, equipment, and supplies and replenish low supply regularly.
• Communicates any defects or lost items and makes suggestions for improvements
• Proficiency/knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Teams, Excel)
• Communicates with customers on a regular basis to coordinate plant care and act liaison for on-site client concerns or questions.
• Informs supervisor of any changes to account liaison/contact, access, plant location, damage to materials, safety concerns, etc.
