Job description

Position: Interior Finisher - Perryville, MO

Only qualified candidates with the relevant experience will be considered for this position.

Job Description:

As an Interior Finish technician, you will be responsible for interior finish processes, including wood finishes on aircraft, applying varying gloss and satin finishes, and sanding hardwood as needed. The primary focus is on developing and completing aircraft interior cabinet finishes. Responsibilities may vary based on the scope and type of projects, as assigned by the Finish Team Leader.

  1. Assist with painting techniques for major modification projects.
  2. Identify colors and match them accurately.
  3. Have basic knowledge of stains, lacquers, clear coats, etc.
  4. Understand chemicals such as thinners, catalysts, cleaners, and adhere to safety procedures.
  5. Be familiar with paints and spraying equipment.
  6. Perform dry sanding and wet sanding techniques.
  7. Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
  8. Use basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  9. Maintain cleanliness of the shop and surroundings.
  10. Work independently when required.
  11. Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  12. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
