Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive outside sales to customers’ homes and at industry events. The role involves traveling to client locations and participating in Home Shows, with a focus on tailoring product recommendations and financing options to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include presenting warranties, preparing quotes, completing sales paperwork, and maintaining profitable orders.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.
• Prior in-home or virtual sales experience is preferred.
• Computer and application skills (email, iPad, apps) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes for outside sales visits and industry events.
• Present tailored product recommendations, price quotes, and financing options.
• Complete sales contracts and paperwork and capture measurements per installation specifications.
• Solicit new customers inside THD stores and at events; build local relationships with store teams.
