Job summary

OCS Contracting Services is seeking a residential/commercial painter to join our team. You will perform professional exterior and interior painting in residential and light commercial settings.

You are an experienced painter who takes pride in delivering quality service. A positive attitude is required to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) and proper painting techniques.
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluate requests, pricing projects, troubleshoot issues, and describe work orders.
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or other necessary methods.
• Mix, match, and blend paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and coatings to achieve desired color and texture.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
• Inspect paint jobs for quality and perform daily maintenance on equipment.
• Have fine finish spraying experience with airless spray equipment is a plus!

We are looking for a residential/commercial Painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.

You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques


• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed


• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects


• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary


• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties


• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks

• Have fine finish spraying experience with airless spray equipment is a plus!

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
