Job summary

Parr Lumber Company is hiring a Millworks Door Builder to construct interior doors to order and move materials to the Shipping area. You will work under the Manager and cooperate with the warehouse team, ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires reading measurements, operating necessary tools, and maintaining quality control while collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, write, and read English required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to be mobile in warehouse.
• Must be able to move heavy objects in warehouse.
• Must be able to operate all machines and tools necessary to complete door orders.
• Able to listen to and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Build doors accurately, safely, and professionally.
• Ensure material quality before shipping.
• Verify material backorders and inform management.
• Move products within the warehouse, using forklift if needed.
• Report accidents/incidents promptly.
• Sit on safety committee as requested and keep area clean.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
