Job summary

PARR is seeking a Millworks Door Builder to accurately construct interior doors for customer orders in a warehouse setting. You will transfer material from the Interior Door Department to the Shipping staging area while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role reports to the Manager and collaborates closely with the warehouse team. English proficiency, the ability to read a tape measure, and physical readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to be mobile in a warehouse.
• Must be able to move heavy and awkward objects in a warehouse.
• Must be able to operate all machines and tools needed for door orders.
• Able to listen to and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in a busy environment.
• Shoes must be puncture resistant, slip resistant, and approved footwear.

Responsibilities

• Build doors accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure material quality before shipping.
• Verify material backorders.
• Inform management and purchasing about material needs.
• Move products within the warehouse, using a forklift if needed.
• Promptly report accidents or incidents.
• Sit as a member of the safety committee as requested.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
