Job Summary: The Interior Door Assembler is primarily responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently assemble wood and metal components into a finished product in accordance with design measurements and specifications.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately place pre-cut wood component members onto jig in accordance with wall panel design.
  • Join wood component members together utilizing staple gun.
  • Assemble door components using various hand and power tools
  • Inspect finished doors for quality and accuracy, make adjustments as needed
  • Install hardware and other components on door
  • Accurately measure dimension of wall panel to ensure accuracy and quality of build in accordance with design.
  • Place metal connector plate components at joints for permanent application in accordance with design.
  • Ensure all walls are built according to safety and quality standards.
  • Send finished product to packaging/shipping section of the production line.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints to determine door specifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Ability to read or learn to read a tape measure.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate power tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
