Job summary

The American Society of Interior Designers in Chicago seeks a passionate Interior Designer to join their Workplace practice. This hybrid role involves field surveys, developing drawings, and collaborating with clients to shape functional, aesthetic spaces.

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in Interior Design and Architecture, be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, and comfortable presenting designs in meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 5+ years of experience in Interior Design and Architecture.
• Workplace experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and assist in the preparation of drawings for all design phases.
• Update design documents and develop solutions as needed.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings including modeling.
• Provide research and compile data during design phases.
• Participate in client meetings, design charrettes, and project team meetings.
• Possess basic knowledge of project budgets.
