Job summary

Walter E. Smithe Furniture & Design is seeking a design-focused sales professional to partner with clients, design spaces, and drive sales in a showroom environment.

You will conduct in-home visits and use design tools to realize concepts, while building long-term client relationships. Training is provided with mentorship, and compensation is commission-based with potential for substantial earnings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of post-grad experience in retail, sales, or interior design with consultative sales expertise.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Weekend availability.
• Ability to travel to in-home visits or meet clients as needed.

What you'll do

• Primarily custom and special order, including private label brands, as well as Century, American Leather, Vanguard, Hancock & Moore, Universal, Hooker, and many others
• Manage multiple projects while achieving individual sales goals
• Collaborate with a dedicated support team of client service, accounting, and delivery professionals
