Job summary

PSI’s Interior Designer role requires leading production efforts for architectural projects and collaborating with PSI Lead Architects to understand client needs. You will develop interior finish schemes, construct documents, and coordinate with engineering teams from Indianapolis to meet project goals.

Expected responsibilities include presenting designs to customers, participating in meetings, and ensuring alignment with budgets and schedules. Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture.
• Minimum of four years of commercial interior design experience, with a preference for a K-12 background.
• Proficiency with REVIT; minimum of 2 years with AutoCAD.
• Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in successfully managing multiple projects.
• Experience and knowledge of building construction.
• Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visualization software are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use of REVIT and AutoCAD in architectural projects.
• Assist in the development of presentation materials/graphics, marketing materials, and proposal documents.
• Work with school administration to determine project needs and goals as related to interior design.
• Develop interior finish schemes in alignment with clients’ needs, budget, and preferences.
• Coordinate interior design features with architectural and engineering teams.
• Develop construction documents and manage construction administration.
• Coordinate and assist with red lines.
• Attend and collaborate in project meetings and present to customers in design and board meetings.
• Coordinate with internal Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers regarding projects.
• Communicate with outside consultants regarding projects.
