Job summary

NBBJ’s Boston studio is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join its highly collaborative team. In this role, designers will have the opportunity to contribute to projects across a diverse range of sectors, including regional academic medical centers, health sciences, corporate/commercial, and higher education.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of professional experience in Interior Design.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or Architecture degree.
• Proven client leadership.
• Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills.
• Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
• Revit capability.
• Revit/Enscape rendering skills a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Rhino and/or 3DS Max.
• Develop and implement overall design concepts through all phases of design.
• Depth of experience with selecting, and specifying materials and finishes.
• Creation of presentation decks and materials.
• Experience with furniture selection and specification.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment.
• Desire to help drive innovative design solutions.
