BCT Design Group is seeking a passionate, self-driven Interior Designer II to join our collaborative Interiors team in Baltimore, MD. In this mid-level role, you will manage projects across diverse sectors including workplace, hospitality, and multi-family design.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and advanced skills in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. This position requires full-time, in-person work in our studio.

Job description

BCT Design Group is seeking a passionate, self-driven Interior Designer II to join our collaborative Interiors team in our Baltimore, MD Office. In this mid-level role, you will execute projects across diverse sectors, including workplace, hospitality, food and beverage, multi-family, and senior living. You will seamlessly bring a client's vision to life, sculpting dynamic interiors while aligning with BCT's Core Values of exceptional customer service and design excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Manage and execute mid-level design tasks from initial conceptualization through project completion. Ensure all designs comply with building and life safety codes.
  • Design Production: Develop schematic design and design development renderings, and assemble comprehensive design packages.
  • Technical Production: Develop comprehensive construction documentation sets, floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings.
  • Material & FF&E Selection: Source, curate, and specify appropriate interior finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Client & Vendor Interaction: Support client presentations, maintain positive relationships, and coordinate directly with vendors, consultants and contractors.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of professional interior design experience, specifically within the commercial sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to work full-time in-person and on-site at our studio.
