What You Will Do

  1. Lead the creative efforts on healthcare + science projects, developing overall design concepts and presentation strategies.
  2. Mentor and provide creative direction to design teams.
  3. Act as the primary design interface with clients and consultants.
  4. Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy.
  5. Participate in business development and marketing efforts.
  6. Select interior finishes, furniture, and equipment.
  7. Produce space plans, furniture plans, elevations, and conceptual and finished design presentation documentation.
  8. Provide solutions to design problems and generate design alternatives.
  9. Review drawings, mockups, materials, and finish samples submitted by project contractors.

Your Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of design or architecture.
  2. 10+ years of design leadership in interior design and/or architecture projects; recent healthcare or science project experience is required.
  3. NCIDQ certification.
  4. LEED accreditation is preferred.
  5. Strong visualization skills are a plus.
  6. Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  7. Proficiency in Revit and other computer-aided design programs.
  8. Must have a portfolio of healthcare or science projects, demonstrating a range of interior and base building projects (medical centers, hospitals, outpatient clinics, labs, etc.).

**The base salary will be estimated between $95-120k plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience.
