Job description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with expertise in both 2D and 3D design to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Work from rough sketches and specifications created by the project manager
  • Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software
  • Draft and prepare layout drawings
  • Collaborate with designers, contractors and project managers on projects
  • Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements
  • Knowledgeable to draw for C&S, Mechanical and Electrical works using CAD
  • Manage project site vendors and progress
  • Ensure all works meet quality standards and government regulations
  • Ensure that the expenditure of the projects are kept within budget
  • Attend meetings and liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and any other parties involved in the project
  • Inspect off-site fabrication and on-site installation
  • Ensure that all defects have been rectified before the arrangement for pre-site inspection
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in interior design or related field
  • Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods in Singapore
  • Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Proven expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D visualization
