Job summary

Steinhafels in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking an interior designer to transform client spaces and bring dream homes to life. You’ll work in-store and visit clients at their homes, using your creativity to present layouts and product selections.

This full-time role offers no cap on commissions, paid training, and a supportive team. Strong sales ability and design flair are a plus, with opportunities for bonuses and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Experienced designers or those just starting out in the design field.
• Strong sales abilities and high personal integrity
• The creative talent needed to translate your vision into a presentation that will meet your client’s needs and drive sales
• The ability to work both in-store and in customers’ homes
• The ability to manage multiple projects and customers concurrently
• Flexibility in work schedule to meet customer needs including weekends and holidays
• Experience with 2D and 3D space planning
• Experience with palette selections and textiles
• DMV record must meeting insurability requirements
