Job summary

Steinhafels Furniture is seeking an interior designer who loves transforming spaces and helping clients realize their dream homes. This full-commission sales position rewards creativity and client-focused design with strong training and support.

You will translate client visions into compelling presentations, work in-store and at clients’ homes, and manage multiple projects while maintaining flexibility for weekends and holidays. Strong design background and sales mindset preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in interior design or equivalent training.
• Strong sales abilities and high integrity.
• Ability to translate client vision into a presentation that meets needs and drives sales.
• Ability to work in-store and in customers’ homes.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and customers concurrently.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with 2D and 3D space planning.
• Experience with palette selections and textiles.

Responsibilities

• Present design concepts to clients and translate ideas into proposals.
• Drive sales by aligning designs with client goals and budget.
• Work both in-store and at clients’ homes to implement designs.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with clients and teams.
