Job summary

CCS Building Group's Design Studio in Pennsylvania seeks an experienced Interior Designer to guide residents through finish selections, window coverings, and customization for apartments, delivering a personal, high-quality experience.

You will coordinate with residents, owners, and staff, maintain catalogs, manage schedules, and ensure accurate design records while using Office and design software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Interior Design or related field.
• Extensive Interior Design knowledge and a strong eye for detail.
• Professional and diplomatic communication with clients, families, and owners.
• Skilled at handling customer objections professionally and effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure with independent decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate schedules and adapt to changes.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with design selection software is a plus.

Job description

What you'll do: Meet with residents and select custom options and finishes for their apartment units. Deliver a personal, high-quality experience for every resident while providing superior customer care and support throughout the full design, renovation, and finish process.

Resident Consultations and Finish Selections:

• Consult with incoming residents to guide them through selecting custom options and finished for their new residence. Collaborate with current residents - whether transitioning to a new unit or updating their existing space - to identifying the right custom finish selections. Work with owners to specify finishes for "Ready-to-Move" and model units.

Window Coverings and Product Management

• Sell and order a full line of window coverings and coordinate field measurements and installation scheduling. Monitor and evaluate all product offerings on a continuous basis to ensure selections remain current. competitive, and aligned with resident needs.

Scheduling and Team Communication

• Provide support to the Design Studio Manager with meetings, scheduling and communication to achieve the goal of 100% customer satisfaction. Effectively communication with office and field staff to coordinate schedules and ensure a seamless experience for all residents.

Software and Catalog Maintenance– As Needed

• Update design selections, software catalogs, and pricing on a continual basis to ensure accuracy and relevance. Maintain organized records or all selections, orders and resident communications to support a smooth and efficient design process.
