Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is seeking an Interior Designer to plan, design, and furnish residential and commercial spaces. Utilize client briefs to create cohesive design concepts and space plans, with in-home measurements and furnishings sourcing.

Responsibilities include sales on the floor, coordinating with clients on style and budgets, and presenting finished plans for approval. This full-time role requires a design background and strong customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field preferred.
• 3 years of retail sales experience. ASID membership preferred
• Broad range knowledge of furniture and furniture styles preferred
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Basic PC skills preferred
• Proofreading skills preferred
• Ability to work night and/or weekends based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check

Pay Range: Avg $62-77K annually (40K Base+Commision)
