The Wadsworth Company is a full-service, design-to-turnkey custom home builder located in beautiful Southern Vermont. We are passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating homes that reflect our clients’ lifestyles, dreams, and expectations.
Wadsworth Design Build is seeking an Interior Designer who will be responsible for creating exceptional and bespoke interior environments for our custom homes. This position requires a high level of creativity, a keen understanding of architecture and interior aesthetics, and the ability to bring a client’s vision to life in a sophisticated, functional, and timeless way. The interior designer will work closely with architects, on-site project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that every aspect of the interior design aligns with the overall architectural style, lifestyle needs, and high-end specifications of the home.
As an interior designer, you will work with increased independence, taking ownership of developing and coordinating substantial portions of a project from concept through completion. You will apply strong design and technical judgment across your work, contribute to client presentations, and coordinate directly with consultants, vendors, and construction personnel to keep projects moving smoothly. Also, you will review the work of less experienced staff, helping ensure it meets our established quality standards. We are looking for designers who anticipate coordination issues before they become problems and who take an active role in mentoring and developing the broader design team.
Job Type: Full-time
Applying to this position requires a resume, cover letter, portfolio submission of design work completed within the last two years, and a minimum of 3 professional references.
