Job summary

Altura Source seeks a design-minded professional to shape two extended stay renovations into cohesive micro-apartments in Savannah. You will manage aesthetics from finishes to landscaping, ensuring cohesive, high-quality results within budget. The role requires regular site visits locally.

The position is part-time (15–25 hours per week) with potential extension if additional projects arise in the region. Remote work is not listed.

Qualifications

• Strong design experience with creating intentional spaces across residential, commercial, or landscape projects.
• Ability to sketch ideas (CAD or Revit experience preferred) or translate concepts on paper for review.
• Local to Savannah to visit sites regularly; students considered with prior design experience.

Responsibilities

• Take creative control of projects to ensure cohesive, beautiful results within budget.
• Oversee finishes, landscaping, color schemes, and layout decisions for each project.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain design direction across multiple sites.

Job description

Our company is acquiring and renovating 2 extended stays into micro-apartments in Savannah.

We want these projects to look incredible; we have found that the main difference between projects that look great vs ones that do not is the amount of attention to detail and intention for design that is put into it.

Your role would be to help design these projects, and manage everything from an aesthetic standpoint at each of these projects - including finishes, landscaping, color schemes, layout choices, etc. You would be taking creative control of the projects to make sure they turn out cohesive and beautiful, while also staying within budget.

This role is meant to be between 15 to 25 hours a week

Some skills and background that are strongly preferred:

• Someone with strong design experience, creating intentional spaces - whether that is a home, commercial, or landscape - don't need a traditional design degree - just someone who is super keen on it and has a great eye for it
• Ideally with CAD or Revit experience or can at least sketch stuff out on paper for us to see
• Local to Savannah so they can visit the site regularly
• We are open to students as long as they can show prior experience with design

This role is meant to last for the next 4 to 6 months and is not a full time position. Can be longer if we end up acquiring more projects in the region.

Expected salary range is between $30 to $35 an hour but doesn't include any benefits - open to a performance bonus based on how the projects turn out.
