Job summary

HGA in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Design Coordinator to join our Interior Design practice. You will collaborate with designers and architects from concept development through construction administration, translating client needs into thoughtful design solutions while supporting interdisciplinary teams.

You’ll work on various project types, handling presentations, materials research, and technical execution with a focus on human-centered spaces and collaborative design process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Interior Design/Interior Architecture program or related field
• 2 - 4 years of experience
• Proficiency in Revit; SketchUp and Enscape desired
• Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite desired
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative and professional work ethic
• Ability to take initiative and work in team or alone
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Responsibilities

• Translate programming requirements into design solutions that enhance the user experience and meet project goals
• Prepare plans, renderings, sketches, or visual aids for design presentations
• Research, select, and specify materials to support design goals and technical requirements
• Work on a variety of project types and scales
• Perform technical aspects of the interior design process from project setup through construction administration
• Assist with furniture planning, design and specification
• Develop Artwork and Environmental Graphics concepts
