Job summary

AECOM is hosting an Interior Design Intern Hiring Event in Boston, MA for Spring/Summer 2027 opportunities. This internship starts Summer 2027 and offers a hybrid work model at the Boston office (One Federal St). Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor's in Interior Design, have completed at least two years of study, and be U.S. citizens.

AECOM is seeking an Interior Design Intern to be based in Boston, MA.

This position is expected to start Summer 2027.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Performs entry level work.
• Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or above in Interior Design.
• Must have completed 2 years of study.
• Due to the nature of this work, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
• Has introductory Revit skills
• Ability to work on multiple, fast-paced projects and documents
• Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Portfolio submission required to demonstrate skill set
• Relocation is not available for this position.
