Job summary

Ballard Designs in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Design Consultant to elevate guest experience through design expertise during scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), including virtual options.

You will network with local organizations to grow DS marketing reach and support the store team with order entry, floorsets, merchandising, and product training activities. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning.
• Space planning skills.
• Basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans.
• Conduct Home Visits with a valid driver’s license.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and on-demand design time.
• Identify and network with local organizations and businesses for DS marketing materials.
• Support the retail store team in order entry, visual floorsets, merchandising, and store maintenance and training activities.
