Overview

Living Inspired by Big Sandy Superstore in Dublin, Ohio, is seeking a passionate Interior Design Consultant to join our growing team. This full-time, employee-owned position involves helping clients create beautiful, functional spaces tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

1. Provide personalized design consultations in-home and in-store
2. Create layouts, mood boards, and presentations based on client preferences
3. Assist clients in selecting furniture, lighting, accessories, and finishes
4. Collaborate with merchandising and showroom teams on design trends
5. Deliver outstanding customer service and follow-up to grow our brand
6. Work approximately 40 hours per week, including some weekends, evenings, and possible travel

Qualifications

• Background in interior design or related field; degree preferred
• ASID or professional certifications preferred
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant design experience
• Entry-level candidates with an accredited interior design degree will be considered
• Confidence in space planning, color coordination, and style mixing
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD) is a plus
• Sales experience or comfort in retail environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills
