Job summary

Leland is seeking an experienced interior design coach to guide clients transforming living spaces and mentor aspiring designers. You’ll lead style discovery, mood boards, color & material selection, and room layout & space planning, plus lighting and sourcing.

Roles include budget planning and renovation guidance, while helping designers build skills and navigate the industry. Coaching sessions are hosted virtually with flexible hours and rates, in a fast‑moving, AI‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on interior design experience.
• Prior coaching or consulting experience.
• Clear, structured approach to helping clients bring their vision to life.
• Ability to host sessions virtually with clients.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with style discovery, mood boards, color & material selection, and room layout & space planning.
• Provide lighting design and furniture & decor sourcing guidance.
• Offer budget planning and renovation/remodel guidance for personal projects.
• Support aspiring designers with career direction and skill-building.

This role includes helping clients with style discovery & exploration, mood board & concept development, color & material selection, and room layout & space planning, as well as lighting design and furniture & decor sourcing. Coaches also provide budget planning and renovation & remodel guidance for personal projects, while helping aspiring designers build their skills and navigate a career in the industry. Coaches support general exploration for clients still discovering their design goals or career direction. Ideal candidates have hands-on interior design experience, prior coaching or consulting experience, and a clear, structured approach to helping clients bring their vision to life. Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every client.
