The Building People is seeking a full-time Interior Architect for a prominent federal agency in the Washington, DC area. The successful candidate will have a solid background in interior design and related construction planning and development.

The team is actively involved in small and large project design development, construction document preparation and project execution of unique projects. Travel in the Continental United States is required.

  • Gather information, interface with all stakeholders, and prepare documentation guiding interior design functions related to various project.
  • Apply OSHA and ADA requirements, and all building and safety codes.
  • Work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Present data and plans to all stakeholders– both in person and via email, phone and other means of communication media.
