Job summary

Whitehall Interiors, a New York City-based interior design studio, is seeking an Interior Architect who is proactive, creative, and organized. The role involves technical expertise and project management under the supervision of a Design Director/Project Manager, collaborating with interior designers and vendors on multi-family, hospitality, and residential projects.

Responsibilities include drafting, detailing, and coordinating documentation, with a focus on budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• 3+ years post-graduate experience with at least 2 completed residential projects.

New York City-based and award-winning interior design studio, Whitehall Interiors, is seeking an Interior Architect. We are seeking candidates that are pro-active, creative and organized.

AbouttheRole

The role involves technical expertise, and project management. Candidates will be working under the supervision of a Design Director / Project Manager, and will work closely with a team of interior designers, production/documentation, various industry vendors, consultants on projects spanning multi-family, hospitality, and residential. The ideal candidate will show a transversal expertise and combine creativity, technical knowledge.

• Work efficiently on multiple projects, work within project budgets and schedules, and is experienced with value engineering solution processes.

Qualifications

• 4-yearBachelorDegreeinInteriorDesignorInteriorArchitecture.
• 3+yearspost-graduateexperiencewithatleast2completedresidentialprojects.

RequiredSkills

• Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator), AutoCad, Lumion, and Enscape.
• Strong understanding in x-refs and layers
• Understanding of ADA and NYC Building codes, specifically multi-family building interiors, residential and amenity kitchens, and bathrooms/restrooms.
• A keen sense of interior millwork, metal/glass and stone detailing as it relates to maintaining the design intent as well is required.
• Excellentinterpersonal and communicationskills,bothverbalandwritten.

Salary Range: 60,000-80,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
