Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) is seeking an Interim Preschool Teacher Assistant to support one of our Full Day Full Year centers through October. The role emphasizes teamwork and creating positive early learning experiences for children and families.

The position is full-time, non-benefited, with shifts 6:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and a closing shift starting no earlier than 9:00 a.m. and finishing by 6:00 p.m., pay $20.28–$20.57 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Proficiency in Early Childhood Education, current CDA certificate, or WA State Initial Certificate in ECE.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• One year of experience working with children ages 3-5 in an early childhood setting.

Join EOCF as an Interim Preschool Teacher Assistant and help create positive early learning experiences for children and families. This is a temporary position created to support one of our Full Day Full Year centers through October. This role may become a permanent opportunity based on program needs and position availability after October.

Compensation & Schedule

Our Full Day Full Year centers operate Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The selected candidate must be available to work the closing shift, with schedules beginning no earlier than 9:00 a.m. and ending as late as 6:00 p.m.

This is a temporary, full-time, non- benefitted position with an hourly wage ranging from $20.28 to $20.57, based on experience and qualifications.

Fully Qualified Required Qualifications

• Certificate of Proficiency in Early Childhood Education, current CDA certificate, or WA State Initial Certificate in ECE.

Trainee Qualified Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Experience

• One year of experience working with children ages 3-5 in an early childhood setting.

A Training Plan May Be Considered Based On Qualifications.
