Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEP for each student.
• Implement instructional or therapeutic programs and show written prep evidence.
• Assess student learning styles and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Present subject matter effectively using varied instructional media to meet needs and abilities.
• Work with teachers to modify curricula and assist special education students in regular classes.
• Participate in IEP meetings on a regular basis.
• Participate in selection of books, equipment, and instructional media.
• Establish open communication with parents and staff.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in committees; follow safety protocols.
