Job summary

Vertical Careers, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst on an interim basis to join the Downtown Los Angeles corporate Finance Team. The role is hybrid with one day onsite per week.

You will support leadership with pricing strategies, budgets, forecasts, and revenue management across client engagements, collaborating with attorneys and business leaders to drive financial insights and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree a plus
• 5+ years of FP&A experience with large data sets, data analysis and forecasting
• MS Office (Excel, Word), SQL, Access helpful
• Experience with financial or budgeting systems (MS 365, 3E or other ERP)
• Law firm experience is desirable; other professional services industries welcomed

Responsibilities

• Support Leadership Team and formulate pricing strategies
• Manage revenue against client expectations with attorneys
• Create budgets and forecasts; respond to RFPs and ad hoc analyses
• Oversee a portfolio of client engagements from A to Z
• Perform modeling, scenario planning, accruals and reporting
• Conduct high-caliber business process management
