Vaco has partnered with a well-establishedorganization in need of an Interim Senior Accountant. The client is seekingan experienced professional with strong month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting expertise.

Job Title: Interim Senior Accountant

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid after onboarding)

Pay Rate: $45-50/hour

Project Duration: 3 Months with potential extension

Start Date: First Week of October

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform month-end close and consolidation activities in accordance with deadlines
• Prepare and record journal entries for various accounting transactions
• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support internal and external audit activities and requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Senior Accountant-level experience with strong general ledger expertise
• Demonstrated experience managing month-end close processes and reconciliations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to quickly learn processes, work independently, and contribute immediately
