Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Responsibilities

• Creates a supportive learning environment using developmentally appropriate materials and practices.
• Promotes active learning with structured and unstructured activities addressing social, physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
• Implements the approved curriculum and aligns activities with standards.
• Develops lesson plans and provides individualized and small group instruction adapted to each pupil's needs.
• Sets objectives in lesson preparation and weekly plans and ensures delivery.
• Observes and records student progress and maintains progress records for reporting.
