Qualifications

• NYS School Psychologist Certification is required.
• Experience in inclusive school environments preferred.
• Ability to lead, coordinate with families, and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Conducts psychological assessments and diagnostic examinations to guide actions and supports.
• Provides individual and group counseling to students addressing social skills and executive functioning.
• Supports MTSS processes and related meetings.
• Keeps accurate records and communicates effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Acts as a mental health consultant and provides in-service programs as requested.
• Collaborates with administrators and teachers to tailor supports for students with special needs.
