Lead with Excellence in Resident Care

We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (DON) to step into a vital leadership role within our skilled nursing facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, elevating nursing care quality, and supporting clinical teams with strength and stability. We’re seeking a results-driven RN leader with deep clinical expertise and the flexibility to adapt quickly in new environments.

Your Impact as a Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure Compliance & Excellence: Oversee nursing services, ensuring adherence to company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead & Develop Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, and manage nursing staff while promoting strong team collaboration and accountability.
  • Support Floor Staffing: Step in as needed to support clinical staff and maintain exceptional resident care.
  • Manage Payroll & Budgeting: Oversee department payroll accuracy and manage nursing operations within budgetary guidelines.
  • Enhance Resident Care Plans: Develop and update individualized care plans in coordination with physicians, medical directors, and therapy teams.
  • Ensure Proper Documentation: Monitor and ensure accurate resident charting, documentation, and procedural compliance.
  • Maintain Resources & Supplies: Guarantee staff have necessary equipment and supplies to deliver safe, effective care.
  • Train & Develop Staff: Provide ongoing education and development to support strong clinical outcomes and staff growth.

  • Holds an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of placement.
  • Brings strong clinical and administrative nursing leadership experience.
  • Has a background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.

  • Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
