Job summary

Seven Group Holdings Limited seeks an Interim Professional Lead for Procurement and Commercial Services to guide a 12‑strong team in Powys. The contract starts in February, lasts up to six months, and is predominantly remote with occasional trips to Llandrindod Wells.

You will provide strategic leadership, drive procurement and contract management, support commissioning strategy, ensure Procurement Act 2023 compliance, and oversee rollout of a new Contract Module in the Council’s Finance System.

• Navigate the complexities of public sector procurement, guiding councillors and addressing supply chain risks effectively.
• Implement and enforce compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, and oversee the rollout of a Contract Module in the Council's Finance System.
• Lead the introduction of updated contract procedure rules and establish a comprehensive Commissioning Framework.
