Job summary

LightBridge Academy, a Manville preschool program partner, seeks a passionate preschool teacher on an interim basis to cover a leave of absence from November 2026 through April 2027. The ideal candidate will work with students aged 3 and 4 and hold a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate (P-3).

You design instruction to meet each child’s milestones, plan weekly lessons, and communicate with parents. Team collaboration with staff and volunteers is essential; a valid NJDOE certificate

Qualifications

• Must submit college transcripts along with a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with the teaching endorsement (P-3).
• Design instruction to meet the needs of the children so they can all meet their individual milestones in preparation for kindergarten.
• Plans and implements weekly lessons based on the program curriculum.
• Communicates openly with parents.
• Works well in a team-based environment.
• Ability to work flexibly with a collaborative team of staff members and volunteers.
• A valid NJDOE certificate is REQUIRED (CE, CEAS, or Standard).
