The role focuses on rapid assessment, policy realignment, and driving efficiency while preparing for regulatory inspections. The candidate should have extensive clinical pathology leadership, proven turnaround initiatives, and CAP/AABB inspection experience, with availability to start in 2–3 weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science is required.
• ASCP certification and NCA certification required.
• Progressive pathology laboratory leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and stabilize clinical pathology laboratory operations while driving improvements.
• Oversee a team of 27 FTEs and report to the Director of Pathology and Histology.
• Realign policies and practices to system standards and improve testing turnaround times.
• Stabilize workforce through retention and recruitment efforts.
• Lead the laboratory through successful AABB and CAP inspections.
