The successful candidate will lead worship, preach, administer the sacraments, and mentor staff and volunteers with collaborative leadership.

This role emphasizes building healthy dialogue, strengthening mission and vision, and preparing the church for its next installed pastor.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as interim or senior pastor.
• Strong preaching and worship leadership.
• Pastoral care and counseling skills.
• Ability to guide staff and lay leaders during transition.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Head of Staff, providing collaborative leadership and mentoring for church staff.
• Lead inspiring worship through preaching, administering sacraments, and officiating rites.
• Provide compassionate pastoral care through visitation, counseling, prayer, and support.
• Foster spiritual growth through Scripture teaching and discipleship.
• Encourage intergenerational fellowship and community engagement.
• Collaborate with Session, Deacons, ministries, and volunteers to strengthen leadership.
• Welcome visitors and engage new members; support outreach to the broader community.
• Cultivate a vibrant ministry of fellowship, prayer, stewardship, and care.
• Guide interim ministry and assist in preparing a Ministry Discernment Profile.
