Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a robust operating cadence across site functions.
  • Drive execution of an existing operational improvement roadmap.
  • Coordinate activities across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Site Leadership teams.
  • Facilitate regular performance review meetings and action tracking.
  • Develop and manage programme dashboards, KPIs and progress reporting.

Overview

A leading manufacturer is seeking experienced operational support to accelerate performance improvement initiatives at a manufacturing site in Kansas.

The business is focused on enhancing operational performance, improving execution discipline, and driving sustainable manufacturing improvements. The site leadership team has already identified key improvement priorities and therefore requires hands‑on implementation support rather than a traditional diagnostic assessment.

The assignment is highly execution‑oriented and requires an individual who can work alongside site leadership to coordinate initiatives, maintain momentum, and ensure delivery against operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Establish and maintain a robust operating cadence across site functions
  • Drive execution of an existing operational improvement roadmap
  • Coordinate activities across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Site Leadership teams
  • Facilitate regular performance review meetings and action tracking
  • Develop and manage programme dashboards, KPIs and progress reporting
  • Prioritise improvement initiatives based on business impact and resource availability
  • Remove obstacles preventing progress and accelerate decision‑making
  • Support accountability across functional workstreams
  • Ensure actions are completed on schedule and benefits are realised
  • Provide structured project management leadership while remaining hands‑on in delivery
Candidate Profile
  • 10+ years' experience within manufacturing and operations environments
  • Demonstrated success leading operational improvement programmes in regulated manufacturing settings
  • Experience establishing performance management systems, governance structures and operational rhythms
  • Ability to influence and work effectively with plant leadership teams
  • Proven track record driving measurable operational results
Preferred Experience
  • pharmaceutical / manufacturing experience
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise
  • Experience deploying visual management systems and operational dashboards
  • Familiarity with supply chain, production planning and quality management processes
