Interim OB Manager

Join a Georgia hospital as their next Interim Emergency Room Manager!

The Position

• An Interim OB Manager is needed to provide interim leadership across Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Well-Baby and Level II Nursery, and Antepartum Testing, ensuring safe, coordinated, family-centered care throughout the perinatal continuum.
• The Interim Manager will oversee daily operations for an 11+ FTE team, supporting staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization while maintaining AWHONN staffing standards and appropriate 24/7 nursing coverage.
• Guide clinical teams in caring for laboring patients, postpartum families, and newborns, including stabilization and timely transfer of infants requiring a higher level of care.
• This leader will partner with physicians, hospitalists, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary colleagues to strengthen communication, support clinical decision-making, and maintain consistent care processes across services.
• Seeking a hands-on leader clinical leader to bring a collaborative, communicative leadership style with a focus on operational stability, staff support, accountability, and high-quality maternal and newborn outcomes.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $155,000 to $165,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
