Job summary

Northport-East Northport UFSD is seeking a dedicated Middle School Mathematics teacher to deliver standards-aligned instruction to students in grades 5–9 across Northport Middle School and East Northport Middle School. The role emphasizes mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and engaging, differentiated lessons.

The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to implement district curriculum, monitor student progress, and provide targeted interventions to support diverse learning

Qualifications

Knowledge of middle school mathematics content and instructional practices.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics lessons.
Ability to differentiate instruction and provide targeted support to students with varying academic needs.
