Job Summary
The Parks and Recreation team is currently hiring for an Interim Lifeguard position at the Westside Recreation Center. Applicants should demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Lifeguard employment requires American Red Cross lifeguard certification, but applicants can apply without certification; the job offer is contingent upon successful completion of the certification. If hired, the City of Sioux Falls will reimburse the certification costs.
Must be willing to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings. As an interim employee, you will be eligible to work up to 40 hours and qualify for the City’s health insurance but no other benefits. The position remains open until filled.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 15 years old.
