Job summary

Colorado Community Church in Aurora, CO is seeking an Interim Director of Kids Ministry to lead the Kids Ministry Department for Birth through 5th grade. This temporary, part-time (25 hours/week), non-exempt position reports to the Family Life Zone Director and is focused on developing a Christ-centered ministry that partners with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim leadership for the Kids Ministry Department and execute the annual ministry plan.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to ensure weekend programming runs with excellence.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers across age groups.
• Plan and oversee kids programming and family events.
• Care for kids and families within the ministry.
• Schedule weekend services and participate in meetings.
